LeeC Parts Salvage Stories | After working with @Mod2Fame I had to go out and buy a Dodge Charger Hellcat from Salvage Auction.. In fact I bought the CHEAPEST "running" Hellcat Copart had to offer!

I got exactly what I paid for... Question is, can we get it running right and will there be enough good parts left to make a profit after we part it out?

Do you have a Salvage Hellcat story of your own? Tell us in the comments!

This is too depressing to watch. It's a shame what people do to these cars. At the rate they're destroying them there won't be many left in 20 yrs. For that reason I wonder if it might not be a bad idea to put one in storage as an investment for the future.

Watching the breakdowns on these cars it really shows how much you're running and gunning in this game to keep the doors open, respect

If that car is from Florida and the CARFAX points back to gator dodge. That’s my friends old car. He wrecked going full speed on a back road that was closed

That was a great video and I really enjoyed it when you talked about the front end and the other damage. Just great work on your part for showing us.. thank you

I seen a lot more money left on that car, glass panels handles window switches etc, unless they keep the remaining in the back for slim Pickens..

Back in 1975 I wanted a 67 Vette but when I went to get cash to put a down on it it was gone when I got back. I settled, and believe me there are 100's of times I've regretted it, for a 68 convertible with a hard top only, and it did not have the original engine either. Not until 3 years ago, yes I still have it, did I find out what kind of damage that thing had on it, which at 24 in the military, I had no clue what to look for so bought it for $3250. Where were you guys back then? I ended up in a small junk yard searching for parts, most of which I found back in 75/76. In 1976 I was transferred to the Philippines and the car came with me, It was shot paint wise due to the excessive humidity after 3 1/2 years, but I did have it painted in 1983, and that paint is still on it. When my wife passed away in 96 I could not bring myself to drive it any longer, and it sat in the garage covered until 2018, when I decided I wasn't getting any older, and nobody was going to buy it, I decided to have it fixed. Long story short, today it's in the garage, in the Texas heat, because it's too friggin hot out to drive it right now. It is a beast these days but certainly not like cars of today. I kind of love it now though.
Nice watching you go over wrecked cars and see what turns up. By the way, that Sniper EFI logo you had on one video could be a Holly looking carb, couldn't tell with such a quick look, if the air cleaner came off would have been easier. I've got one on my Vette. I get way better gas mileage with it than the regular holley. But when you've got a 427 you already know it's not gonna be great.

Door panels warp in the sun and dodge has them on back order. My friend don’t have a garage and the sun tore his door panel up it warped crazy!

The connections on the pcm will light everything up, seen some electronic cleaner spray and dielectric grease help too. Of course that doesn't fix mechanical or everything in general but helped me from replacing a lot more than needed.
