That verse always gets me. When Jesus prayed if there was any other way. He felt all human emotion including fear. Just imagine the fear he felt knowing what he would have to suffer! Thank you Jesus!

He taught obedience through his suffering in my opinion

Jesus learned Obedience through his suffering . They twisted a crown of thorns into his head, they pushed him over a cliff, they pulled out part of his beard, they whipped him with a cat of nine tails that had chunks of metal in them that ripped out chunks of skin. They punched him, and spit in his face, they called him a liar, a drunk, a devil and alot of other filthy things and they nailed him to a cross and shoved a spear into his side, is this enough suffering, not to mention the mental suffering? God said his true people will also suffer, like Jesus did, physically and mentally. Hence Job in the Bible. He did nothing wrong. Satan did those things to Job to get him to curse God, because Satan was accusing him falsely as to why he found favor with God. Satan was on Jesus tracks every second he was alive. Tormenting him, trying to get him to say and do something wrong. And Satan was irrate because of all the suffering he was putting Jesus through, not once did Jesus even give the devil the slightest advantage by even moaning. We learn by being afflicted to obey God. Suffering, tests our faith in God whether it's physical suffering or mental. Jesus was beaten beyond recognition..He went through what he did so he can understand us and besides that, there is no remission of sins without the shedding of blood. His blood. Because he was perfect and had to overcome for our sakes, so we could have eternal life.

Many people don't realize that he learned to walk, to play, to talk, etc... suffering is part of life, we all go thru it..

Jesus obedience to God's plan involved great suffering, and by His stripes we are healed.

Our greatest lessons come from our failures and mistakes. Our greatest growth comes from our suffering. Ask any greatest in any field if they never felt pain, loss, sacrifice, etc to get to the top, all will say they did.

We have a God who made the effort to experience what it’s like to be a human in 1st person perspective and what it’s like to face the world’s temptations and especially what it’s like to suffer a horrible death for those He loves. We could never point at God and say “You don’t know what it’s like to be in my shoes.” See Hebrews 2:9-18.

A lot of people don't realize God couldn't do everything & didn't know everything as a man. Jesus is the judge because God knows things through Him as a man. God can rightfully judge us. No man can say God you judged me unrighteously. The Judge knows everything it is to be a man.

That sounds like a lot of guessing, we aren't gonna know everything, so just say I don't know.

If a person doesn't understand how someone could learn through suffering obviously haven't had to deal with much throughout their life
