ICU nurse here! You would be THE BEST patient to care for! We love nice people!!! I especially appreciate a hand-written note, and also thank you for remembering the night shift folks; they often get shafted with the goodie baskets . If you have a specific nurse that really makes an impact on you, ask if your hospital participates in the DAISY Award program. You can nominate particular nurses for this distinction and it really means a lot. We often have a good happy cry at the nurses station reading the blurbs that people write on the nomination forms ❤

As a nurse we really appreciate these gifts. As a Night Shift nurse I speak for the collective when I say we REALLY thank you for making a basket for Night Shift. Nights often gets forgotten about or the expectation is that both shifts share fairly. As a Night Shift nurse and having done 21 years of nursing we often get what’s left of anything. So this is appreciated I’m sure!

This is so awesome. I did this with my first two baby deliveries but was not allowed on the last one because I tested positive for covid at time of delivery. I did bring a basket a week later as a thank you. The nurses do so much and it's great to give something back to brighten their day.

Awww this is soooo nice. I will remember this when I will have a baby. I was in hospital some times in my life. I always send flowers to the nurses. But this is such a better idea.
