I love their concept album from 1981 named Time. It's got plenty of good songs but it's a story from start to finish. I was a kid (in Sweden) in the 80'ies and my mum used to play that album while painting in the living room and I listened to a lot of great music by Jeff Lynne (ELO), Gerry Rafferty and so on. The album Time just give me a nostalgia-overdose whenever I listen to it. I remember being a little scared when the song "Here is the news" came on due to the lyrics talking about body bags when I was 8-9 years old and listened to the album on my own (but it's such a great song although it's very dark). \o to Kel and Rich.


ps. Jeff Lynne is a genius and I agree with the claim that he took over where the Beatles left (with his own style obviously). Great great songwriter.

Fire on High is the epitome of what ELO stood for musically. It is their best song and easily my favorite song from ELO!! IMO

Went to the Hollywood Bowl a few years back to see ELO. Tightrope is a song more in the line of what to expect from ELO among many others

Love the grimace face before the melody really gets going. You could tell she was thinking "what the heck is going on?".
It was much easier tho sync for me because I already have the album on my computer. Just cued it up and pressed play when you said to. This has always been a turn-it-louder song for me.
