I Survived HYBRID ATHLETE Training For A Week

Can you run while still lifting heavy? That is what I wanted to find out. So, I ran more than I have in years while still doing 4 lifts per week. Can a natural athlete handle this amount of training? This is what happened

as a hybrid athlete myself the body takes a while to adapt to recovering quickly so the first few weeks are always the hardest.

knee issues... how about a 30 day kneesovertoesguy experiment? good thing is, you already KNOW that it is going to help. just how much is the experiment.

When you think about what he had to do for the shots of him running lmao. Is the initial camera set up, running back and then running by the camera then coming back to pick up the camera ...all part of the mile time?😂

I going to keep saying it, but swimming is high effort high reward. People don't understand how good of a recovery exercise it is. I have done rowing, track, swimming, lifting, yoga, etc., and nothing in this world can alow you to recover better than 800 yards of nice easy swim. I can do triples of rowing lifting and run if I alow myself to cool down with swimming.

25 miles in your first week is wild 😂 runners have a 10% rule where you only increase your weekly mileage by 10% every week, and they dont even worry about lifting weights lmao. Ive been hybrid training for a few months now and my weekly mileage is only up to 13 miles so far

brother pigmie. as a 39-year-old hybrid athlete, you need a yoga challenge. i did 30 days straight to start. changes everything.

Currently 33 and been working out since age 14. The mental benefits I’ve noticed from endurance running are significantly better than lifting. You definitely seemed to pick up on this, so I would suggest trying to lift 3-4 days of the week and run 2-3 days of the week exclusively. You get the best of both worlds and are stronger on your lifting days. Keep it up man 🤙🏻

My bro is such a handsome, well put together guy. And here at 10:30 his girl is totally over his nonsense😂. The way he looks at the camera after... I only get this because that's the same way my girl reacts to me.

A big problem with a lot of these "hybrid" athletes on social media....they more often than not use PEDs. The human body (unless it is your fulltime job and you have a strict eating and supplement schedule) is not designed for this level of stress and strain on the body constantly. It is nearly impossible to stay as big and as strong as Nick Bare without some form of testosterone or other steroid-mimicking substance. We often forget that social media is about selling an image...and not an honest one.

Been watching you for a few years now. This is my favorite video so far. The subject is cool and all and you’re inspiring me to start this. But more so the way you filmed. The style. Don’t mean to glaze but please do this style more often!!

You should learn the runner's knot, it will increase stability when wearing your running shoes. Small things go a long way.

That’s crazy I literally just reintroduced squats yesterday as well after doing only ATG workouts for like 6 months to rehabilitate and strengthen my back and knees. It felt even better than I’d hoped to successfully barbell squat again. Thanks for the nice long video today!
