Why Your Ex Might Trick You To Break No Contact

Sometimes an ex boyfriend (or ex girlfriend) will trick you into breaking no contact in order to ease their mind that you haven't moved on. They do this because they want to keep you in backup mode in case they ever see you as useful to them again.

Don't fall for it.

An ex girlfriend or ex boyfriend trying to get you to break no contact is also called breadcrumbing or breadcrums from an ex.

You only hurt your chances of getting them back by falling for it. If it is genuine contact, then don't ignore them. Respond makes sense in that situation, but if it's just a trick or breadcrumbing from your ex, then you should ignore them.
