I know everyone has there own opinion on this bike but in person this bike is something special, insanely lightweight that anyone who walks up to the bike can feel!!! the cone takes some getting use to but I will say this bike with lower spacers I really like the front end. Cant wait to see hwo this bike performs and like it or not we have this bike for a long time, but something special to make a climbing machine so light and have great aero benefits!!!

looks very similar to the SL6 Sworks, in fact that bike was easily sub 15 as well. IMO SL6 Sworks was the peak, dont think they can do much from there unless UCI allows design changes, & the SL6 was a great bike

Super super Tarmac SL build, aero handlebars look amazing.Modern bicycle frames are so over designed now frame strength is not an issue.💯👌🏻✌🏻

I got my SL8 Sworks on Monday and have 3 rides on it. I am incredibly happy with this bike, I'm coming from an SL7... Different bikes! Do not listen to people that say they are the same bikes!

The SL6 was claimed to be as aero as a venge by spesh so it's the OG lightweight climbing / do it all bike (people seem to conveniently forget that fact).
My UL SL6 with 50mm CLX wheels, SRM power meter, R8000 pedals and 2x bottle cages weighs 6.74 kg in a 56cm (not exactly a special build is it) - I see no reason to 'upgrade'.
Just because its new doesn't necessarily make it better, it just makes it new.

Reading comments here and there really shows, as long as there is no independent third party testing which includes power data, wind tunnel testing and frame cutting… any claims made by manufacturers remains as “ Hope” not “ Fact”.
Except for the weight of course.

Those bars look wide as hell, what are they 42s lol... Getting some 38s on there will drop a good 50g I bet. I think some people have got Aethos builds under 5kg; would love to see one of these on 50mm wheels with 2x under 6kg
