What I would like to know as I’m struggling..after I got my Text, and the box goes away, how to get my Keyboard back..as I go to my Text layer, but sometimes there’s no option to “Edit Text” and I can no longer make any adjustments, should be easy but when it appears, it’s random..I only get “Select” and other options. Please help! 😅

Can I just ask with actually moving the box of text I find it a hit or miss with how the select reacts.

What is the correct was to select the text box to move it without making any other alterations.

I have added my text box, typed my text & warped it, but now I'd like to go back to edit it but am having a problem finding the edit box again? I've tried tapping the screen, but it's not coming up?

Thank you! I am learning procreate and this was very helpful. I’m a long-time graphic designer and illustrator is what I work in, so this is a whole new working interface. Just FYI “leading” is pronounced as you do pencil lead (led); not leading as if to lead someone. It’s a graphic design term not well known outside of the design sphere. 😊

How does someone edit text in procreate after this initial adding of text. I am able to select the text layers but double tap/clicking just enables the paint brushes and does not let me fix the text.

Do you know how we can cut and paste text in procreate, without it changing font style (aka bold/underline/different pt sizes) Everytime I want to move text I have to reapply all the editing I did :(

Not to be that person, but “leading” is pronounced “ledding” … referring to the lead that was used in traditional typesetting.
