I’ll be one of the first to admit: being patient as a day trader is HARD. I am ambitious and want to “get things done”. I want to “make things happen”. While this is a fantastic attitude to have in many areas of life, when it comes to the world of online day trading, it can get you into trouble in a hurry. The best dynamic about behaving like you should as a trader, particularly in regards to being patient, is that you can be rewarded very nicely for it! Let me show you what I mean. nice clay, I made 30% on NVDA in about 55 mins. bought 165 DEC 23 PUT for 1.15 when price was at 186 and sold when price was at 181 and the option was worth 1.41 for a quick 200$ gain. About a 55 min trade for 200$ closed out for the day all while only putting about 800$ on the line. 200 a day for 5 days is 1, 000$ a week at 4 weeks a month is 4, 000$ in profits (but you can do the math lol). Sitting 10 feet away from my beautiful sleeping fiancé at my desk while my 4-month-old baby boy sleeps sound in his crib. Don't have to go work a 9-5 and can spend the rest of the day with my beautiful family while supporting us financially. Hindsight...life could be worse. working the SPY chart next to the SOXL daily semi bull 3x shares chart next to the NVDA chart all on 3 min candles. easy work. I have been trading for 2 years unprofitable despite having a high win rate. The only reason is because I trade crypto and the price has to go atleast 0.2% in my favor just to pay for the fees to even start making profits. If I was trading stocks I would honestly probably be doing good. I notice the trades you take wouldn’t even pay for the fees for me
