The cat is alive till it dies so if you know the rate of decay of the radioactive substance and when it will cause the Geiger counter to pick up the radiation and break the poison then you know when the cat will die probably but if you take the cat's health age the batteries in the Geiger counter the amount of oxygen in the box which in this case is the defining factor since this box is sealed so you know the time it takes for the cat to use all the oxygen in any given amount of space and die so unless the cat has sudden heart attack or stroke the cat is for sure alive for the amount of time it takes for the oxygen level in the box to reach a point it will no longer keep the cat alive which will happen way before dehydration and starvation which both would still happen before the poison so your paradox is flawed to a very small window of time depending on the initial size of your box
