That’s a hard song to listen to. He is talking about his plans to commit suicide which is heartbreaking because he actually went through with it. He is such a loss. Please continue to explore Frightened Rabbit. They were an amazing band and Scott was a beautiful human. Wish he was still with us.😔

This is my favourite Frightened Rabbit and the one that has absolutely been a source of comfort for me in the past. I understand why so many people struggle to listen to this song now, but, for me, this is a song about hope. It's about reaching that darkest point, being at the limit and then choosing life. Choosing to keep going.

I wish Scott had chosen to keep going...but I hope he knows, wherever he is, that his songs - and this one, in particular - helped me, and others like me, to find comfort at a time where there felt like there was very little comfort to be found and helped me to keep going.

Another song of Scott’s called “Bird is Bored of Flying”. It was with the band Mastersystem and it was the last thing we got from him before he chose to take his life.

Quite one of the most heartbreaking songs ever made. And I am so glad you are interested in reacting to it. They are so much better than the song, but holy moly this song is THAT song if you understand the history. Absolutely subscribed to your channel. Thank you man.
