loose change

loose change
A small, usually insignificant amount of money, typically consisting of coins. I always try to donate any loose change I've got into the charity boxes in convenience stores. It isn't much, but hopefully, it helps a little bit. My wife and I put our loose change in a big jar at the end of the day.
