Due to how intimate they get for "relatives", and the fact that she calls him Lord Daisuke instead of just Daisuke, I'm gonna assume she's adopted; be it from distantly related bloodlines, or just from an adoption centre, but I don't think they're siblings or direct cousins.

Plus, I think they purposely made Daisuke just say "relatives" rather than be specific so that it's left open for audiences to speculate whether it's the truth or not.

She is adopted in LN and in anime, Daisuke just said that she is relative. So she could be adopted also in anime. Some says daisuke and Suzue are blood related. It's impossible. Why she calling daisuke sama if they are related plus in op where daisuke carrying her and ahe wrapping her arm around him plus the bed scene. Its kinda weird to think that they are blood related. I am sure they kinda have romantic connection between them.
