How to fix stuttering in Genshin Impact

I think it's not a PC problem but definitely the game engine's problem. I read somewhere that Hoyo is still using the 2017 Build Version of Unity in Genshin not sure though, but apparently that build has a bad "Garbage Collection" (some form of automatic memory management) that causes these lag spikes to happen. But yeah for me vsync and freesync does help it occur less. So I do hope the devs optimize the game more because this doesn't happen on other games I play.

After 4.0 update, game went from being buttery smooth to stuttery. Fps constantly drops below 60 (which feels like lags), esspecially if you move fast with bunnyhop/wanderer, or rotate camera in some areas. Sumeru city now can now drop like 10-15 fps. Map also is laggy. All that, while i have <40% cpu/gpu usage on specs = ryzen3700x, 2060s, 32gb ram, ssd. I have a feeling, that the problem is in new character change menu or map. Either way it is a game/engine/incompetence problem.

I've just changed my power plan setting from high performance to power savings, no idea how this tones down my stuttering but it works lmao

2024 4.5 The stuttering continues, even after doing all this, and a process by Steam to apply the game drastically reduced it, but far from perfect, the config would be in the part when starting the game through Steam -screen-fullscreen 0 -popupwindow

The stuttering of this game remind me of memory bloating from the sims 3. Which might cause the game badly stuttering or might simply crash. Even on high end gaming pc at that time.

if you have Vsync enabled in Nvidia control panel do you also enable it in the Genshin game settings too? For most games you only enable one or the other, so wondering if Genshin is an exception

i have no idea why this is a thing but I change my power plan from high performance to power savings and noticed my stuttering goes down, doesnt disappear completely but it causes it to stutter less which is very weird in my opinion

I suffered from stutters even with a decent Laptop and the only thing that solved the stutters for me was disabling virtualization.

Do i have to apply the Nvidia Setting changes to Genshin Impact Launcher only or/and to the Genshin Impact Exe? And do External Harddrives count too, for the Devices Manager, i mean do i have to unplug them while playing Genshin Impact?

hey, I have to ask, with my genshin whenever it stutters it can also lead my other applications to lag like even youtube. Is this normal or does that mean that my game has a different problem?

mine is i7 13700hx with rtx 4060 and 165hz refresh rate and my games stutters like hell idk why even if it has very good specs

Fo0r some reason at 1080p I have no issues but the second i go to 2560 by 1440 i get major stutters.

I have the same issue I have GTX 1650 with ryzen 5 ... I always have constant stutters and fps is never constant .. I have other graphics intensive game and they run just smoothly in recommended(high) settings.. its just I play genshin the most .. no matter what setting I do I end up with the same result .. and I have 8gb ram single channel .. so should I upgrade to dual channel 16gb .. would it fix my issue somehow.. idk but it's only genshin that has frame drops

I get one stutter every 2-3 minutes. Also in quests. Whys it so consistent ☠️
