Golden Visa in the UAE (Dubai) Just Got Better

UAE Golden Visa has just gotten better!
New rules brought lower investments, fewer visa requirements, and longer residency in the country.

If you're thinking of investing in property in the UAE this is good news for you. The required amount is now only 2 million AED which is about $544 000 and this investment will give you a 10-year residency permit!

On top of this, in order to keep your residency you are not required to spend any time in the country! You can also add your family members (dependents) up to the age of 25.

New rules will make relocation to Dubai easier for different groups of people including investors, entrepreneurs, startup owners, professionals, talents, scientists, etc.

The golden visa used to be for realestate investment or a deposit with a UAE wealth management firm worth 10M aed. So if the realestate amount has been reduced to 2M aed does that mean the wealth management firm investment amount has also been reduced to 2M aed?? Thanks.

Health Professionals whom have been serving UAE are being recognised and are receiving the golden visa- what is interesting is that many of them whom have the 10 year American visa- are viewing the Society breakdown- Economy of USA etc and are considering UAE to have a higher quality of life- and contrary to many of the comments- UAE is as expensive as you want to make it- with relatively cheap energy- and 5% purchase taxes its less of a struggle than living in Europe-

Can UAE residents travel to other GCC countries without obtaining a visa, similar to the Schengen area? For example, if I get a Turkish passport, use that to get UAE residence, could I travel to Saudi Arabia without obtaining a visa? Thanks.

Better invest that money in Portugal get citizenship and live in uae visa free. UAE is not worth investing even if it was 200 thousand dirhams leave aside 2 million

Just seeing this now but I do have a question. What do you mean by “invest”. If I buy a property worth over 2m AED even up to 10m and I plan to live in it with my family, do I still qualify for the golden visa?
