Bits and Pieces

Показать описание
These videos are mostly just little experiments I was doing and are leftover videos not long enough to put up on their own, so that's why they're here. The animation with the set might be a little hard to follow so I was planning on redoing an animation with a little more structure but the basic format is two clay guys meet, and try to claim the space as their own. They start competing over who has the best furniture until Green gets a pool table. Red is amazed and forgets about the competition altogether.
FAQ:
The furniture used in one of the scenes is basically dollhouse furniture, which I got from my local hobby shop, Stanbridges. The make of some of the products I bought were by Artesania but if you just search dollhouse furniture on places like eBay then you'll find something similar.
Camera: Canon DSLR EOS 40D
Programs used:
Post Production: Done in Adobe Premiere.
I use Belgrave clay, which is only sold in Australia. For as long as I've been animating, I've never heard anyone tell me they've seen it elsewhere. There are plenty of good alternatives out there and remember there's no perfect clay. While good materials are certainly helpful, a good animator can still animate something amazing with 'bad' clay.
I animate at 24fps. 12fps is a fairly good speed to start at if you're a beginner but I wouldn't recommend going under 12fps.
