Lovely piece, I first played this in college in the 70's. I absolutely loved it's passion and it's completeness, like a single breath telling everything about a moment. Then I forgot about it. Recently, a student of mine, who plays really well took it on. I couldn't resist.

This was just played at my pal's funeral, who was a lawyer, artist and classical guitarist. He took his own life, and we all have been left in shock and deep sadness. David and Mark played this together as students in the 80's. We were in the Fine Arts building together, and I was a painter always hearing those guys trying to work these arrangements to perfection. This piece will forever be in my heart. David Perez was surely as beautiful. It is mystical to me that you look so much like him. Thank you for not resisting the urge to share this with the world. All my love.
