Just saw a piece on 7news (it might have been 9news, not sure sorry) last night where they interviewed a young women who said that she just bought a house, and is paying less in her mortgage repayment ($420/week) then she was paying for rent ($440/week). She was over the moon, and the news segment was saying that now is the best time to buy a house.
Cue the Jaws music. :P

The bright side is the clean out makes room to start a new business on a shoestring. Rents, labour and suppliers are easy to deal with, and their is a bit of goodwill from every one in this situation, We started a manufacturing business in 1991, Lived in the office of the Factory and planned every cent, it was a great experience you cant get into debt because no one will lend you any money.

Arnotts biscuits in Brisbane put up a job online for an operator position. They hired internally but had to advertise the “vacancy” full time position around $24 per hr, they had 5000 applicants.

It hasn't even begun, wait until the job keeper is axed and the dole is reduced back to less than 300 a week as they doubled it at the same time they implemented job keeper. And strangely enough if you work it out job keeper and the dole are paying pretty much the same. Job keeper 750 per week BUT they tax that bringing it down to just under 600, what`s the dole at this same time. ? Just under 600, Job keeper is nothing but a means of disguising the REAL unemployment figure.
Now will they extend it.? Hmm yes I think they will for a short time but like everything it can not go on for ever. At some point it has to end and I`m saying around Christmas or Jan next year at the latest.
It is early next year when the shit will really hit the fan. Oh and there is talk of the dole increasing, yes it probably will as it needs to and Scomo sees it as a 2million vote reaper (those on the dole) but it will not stay at double as it currently is, I`m tipping $50 increase for those on welfare which is only about 340 a week anyway, if you have a mortgage etc your still STUFFED.

This country was well and truly sliding into a depression before the parliaments' panpanic; their interference in economic matters then and now is the principal cause of our woes; and until they keep out of economic matters altogether we can expect little or no improvement.

Problem I see is the restriction on cash. Not to many shops taking cash. It wont be long before the Banks are in trouble and they have all of our unsecured loans / deposits. All the money gone including super.
