Cell division is the Splitting of cytoplasm and the making of new cells.

Growth of the body
old cells are worn out they die
our body requires new cells for growth and proper functioning.
Types of cell division:
Two types of cell division
Mitosis
Meiosis

MITOSIS:
It is a fundamental process of life
In mitosis, the cell duplicates all its content including chromosomes.
And divides into 2 daughter cells.

MEIOSIS:
You start with 46 chromosomes (Diploid) and end up in the haploid (23) number of chromosomes.
Reproductive cells: sperm cell and egg cell.
