Footballers who retired at the TOP of their game… ⚽️🔝

With Germany’s elimination at the quarter Final stages of the Euros it marks the end of glittering career for Toni Kroos, who despite not being able to guide Germany to the trophy still bows out at the top of his game - he was a winner of the Champions League and La Liga in his last season at the age of 34.

But, this got me thinking about some of the other players who called time on their careers when they were still at the top..
