in the movie Full Metal Jacket, the Drill Sargent keeps abusing the recruits in an attempt to turn them into Hardened Marines but the irony missing on Trump is
1 the Drill Sargent gets shot in reflection on the flaws with that training method in the 70s that led a lot of soldiers and Marians to "frag" kill their superior officers
2 the military has a long history of drag
drag originated from Shakespeare's time when women weren't allowed to play in the theater so men had to put on a dress and drag them around to play female characters the military being a male-dominated establishment to this day has drag shows to keep morale UP
you can see pictures of soldiers in WW2 dressing in drag and having to man the guns in dresses because they got attacked during a play
