I once went fishing on a nearby lake with my dad when i was 12, and as we were fishing a random guy started talking to us and telling us stories and anecdotes, when suddenly i start feeling the fishing rod a little bit harder, so i pull and what i got wasn't a fish, but a hat. My dad and i burst out laughing, but the other guy looked terrified. When we asked why, he started telling a story about a local taxi driver that had killed a woman and killed himself by driving into the lake, and he and the car were still down there. The guy said that when he died, he was wearing a hat. Never threw something away faster in my life.
