Not only do we get the cartoony animation mixed with live action, but we also get some game models, including...Garry's Mod? Not only was this episode funny as usual, it managed to build tension and atmosphere very well, even though there was nothing to be afraid of.

I still find it interesting that a paranormal live action comedy turned into a cartoon

First Chesire cat and bear girlfriend. Now mousie and cat girlfriend! Absolutely LOVED it! The affirmative nature and interaction of the characters gave me huge nostalgia tinglies. This feels like Looney Tunes for a more cultured audience. The Looney-ness comes from the way the mouse is a mutually loving and healthy romance with a cat that eats him, but that's okay because his house is inside her stomach and he can leave whenever he wants. But in spite of the Looney-ness they both speak intelligently and calmly and play everything else straight without excessive slapstick. Like, there's plenty of absurdist comedy, but it's a calm absurdity that somehow maintains a sense of grounding. Also, I love the character designs and voices. They make both characters likeable, and you enjoy seeing them interact and just be together. I love this!
