Moving our Alligator into the Zoo!

Today is a day we've all been waiting for... Rex is moving into the zoo!! Ahhh!! She is LOVING it so far, as seen by her even bellowing- something she's never done before!!

I honestly cried at this. Rex has been on such a journey, huh? From crammed in a little box for years and years, to a beloved character on the channel, to her own special exhibit and delighting so many kids and adults in person. It genuinely made me emotional when she was bellowing at Ed's drill. It's like she's truly at home. What a wonderful set up and I hope to take the road trip to see it one day ❤

Rex is the happiest crocodilian I've ever seen in captivity, probably helped by her size. Regardless, I'm so happy to see her in such a good home doing so many natural behaviours!

i didnt realize just how small rex actually is until she got her new enclosure. its so crazy to see her have so much room to move around and play... its heartwarming to see her so happy. we love you rex 🐊

It's unreal seeing Rex in such a big home after all these years, I'm so excited to see her getting used to it. You should put a vinyl outline on the glass next to her backstory tag that shows how big the tiny box her first owner had her in was

When it was being built, just on camera, her enclosure looked so small. It's amazing to see how big it is with Rex actually inside! I'm so happy for her.
