I am getting so frustrated with FCP and I haven't even started. I need to ask a question but first let me set this up. I am a photographer since 1978. I have gone from film to digital(1998...1st digital camera was a Kodak 1.5MB B&W files). Anyway, I use Lightroom everyday. My workflow is that I set up a separate Lightroom catalog(.lrcat) for each job. I place the catalog folder inside the RAWS for "that job". If I move the job...the catalog goes with it. Can this be a workflow I can implement in FCP? I have not seen this addressed anywhere. Can it be because it's just not done or not recommended? I would love to hear from you...my set-up workflow is in a tailspin.I subscribed and thank you.

So when I create a new project, it passes all of the content videos that I had on the previous project, how would I start a clear, whole new base level project? withought the content of the other one?

Sorry, but this is not helpful! I've already created my first video project (it was simple to do) and it has been completed and finalized. Now, I simply want to create a whole new video with a new library of clips. I couldn't figure out how to do that within the app and it is not explained here. Some kind of explanation of what exactly a "project", "event" and "library" is, and how they relate to each other would be quite helpful. Otherwise I'm currently still stuck.
