Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet 2- Solid Mid-range Tablet

Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet 2 Windows 8 Tablet. First off this is a very thin and light laptop, measuring 9.8 mm thin and weighing less than 1.5 pounds with a 10.1-inch 720p screen. The ThinkPad Tablet 2 also sport a Lenovo digitizer pen how hand writing recognition, a full USB 2.0 port, mini HDMI-out, microSD card slot, and 4G LTE with AT&T. It also sports two cameras on the tablet, with a 2 megapixel HD camera in front with two noise canceling mic for video chat, and 8 megapixel rear camera with 720p recording . Lenovo claims a 10hr battery life and expect it to hit the market in Oct with Windows 8 Launch. My impression here is Lenovo has a case to state with its Think Pad Tablet 2 Windows 8 tablet, design wise it is reminiscent of the ThinkPad itself. The are few accessories you can get with the device like a Lenovo ThinkPad style Bluetooth Keyboard and carrying case.

You can't use external hard drive. Because this tablet doesn't provide enough electricity through it's usb 2.0 port.

The only think you can do is either use an extra power source of usb port to power up your external hard drive with the tablet (use those two join one usb cables), or copy your data from your hard drive into a microSD card and use the card port on the top of the tablet.

Hey, you may know this by now, but just a little tidbit of info, the Atom processor can only handle 2 Gigs of RAM, and, yeah, that's why it is so :)

Hi there, would you recommend this for editing photos on photoshop? I need a tablet where I can use it when I'm travelling, transfer photos from my canon dslr and edit photos on photoshop. I heard that thinkpad tablet 2 is not as powerful compare to surface pro. But the surface pro does not have a 3g and plus it's heavier. Which one would you recommend? Thanks

i am finding it hard to locate my external hard drive when i put it into the USB slot. could someone please explain how i can locate it on the tablet.
