honest opinion: how much my current employer is paying me is none of new employer's business, they should state how much they are willing to pay and then i will decide to join or not.

Well HR asks about your expectations and as soon as you give them a number they try to quote the exact opposite of that number. HR should just let them know the exact range of the salary that the position is offering to avoid this convo in the first place

Company ko apna budget reveal krna chaiye instead of asking salary expectation. But I don't know companies apne aap ko kon sa baadshah akbar samajhti h ki employee jo demand krega utna use pay kar sakegi.

It's a very harsh truth.😢

Hi Diksha, As I have recently changed my job and I have followed all ur videos specaily why changing the job and speacliy why asking the such big hike.... honesty I have followed word to word ur videos and crack my interview....I'm not only got good hike but I joined company as good designation as well.. thanks a lot for all such supportive videos

Seriously i was getting 1.3 lpa last 2 year as a devops engineer. on Dec 31st my manger just called me and asked how much salary you need i just told Jitna bhi denge mai khus hoon now jan 2 my manger called me and told we revised your salary from 1.3 to 6.5. koi bakchodi nahi. 1 things i did is in 2 year i never bowed under these stupid companies worked on my skills. also i dont have cs/any degree.
