A spot on honest review, the quality isnt what i hoped it would be however its serviceable and the cabinets are perfect for modding! Almost finished modding mine just waiting for my video converter to come in the mail tomorrow so I can connect my raspberry pi, looking forward to seeing how yours turns out. I been following you and cool toy since these machines were announced and you guys were the originals that covered them having helpful information.

For the specs under the screen glass, there's 4 screws to remove the plexiglas, (2 are hidden by the control panel) and you can clean the monitor and the back of the plexiglas bezel.

Thanks for the info. The mono sound missing the in-game sound effects is a big oversight on their part.

Good review, the p1 mute on projectiles is a big drawback for Super Turbo. Add stereo speakers if you mod it with retro pie.

JP there is an issue I am having you should keep an eye out for Everytime I turn on the machine the screen shakes slightly and the picture adjusts off center. Sometimes the picture adjusts too high so the scores get cut off. Sometimes the picture adjusts to the left and you lose that space. I contacted arcade 1up because I think my monitor is failing.

I recently bought this game, but I cannot play the Super Street Fighter Edition. Regular or Turbo. Can someone help me out?

OMG! NO stereo sound! Lame. Left sound channel missing.... really lame. Q-Sound nerfed. Dirt behind the glass, not acceptable. Overlay rubbing away before an acceptable wear n tear period. Limited volume control. Is it running at 60Hz 59.93fps or 60fps? Manufacturer hiding full specs, not good at all. Is it a terrible build quality for $300 ? Yes, not good value for money. The game plays much better if you switch out the ball tops. I got better tops from Amazon for 5 a piece. They don't spin off in your hand when you play

I think you're being a bit unfair on the cabinet quality. Everyone knew going in these were Ikea type cabs and the MDF wood reflects that. The controller panel issue is unfortunate, but I'm glad to hear it's being addressed. Also, you may want to look at cleaning your screen - Arcade1up has a video on how to do it.
