About your question at 10:00 mark: After a short disruption around the marina, the waterfront goes 40 or so more km's until it reaches the shipyard area next to Pendik. Halfway down in Maltepe there is even a larger park with many more attractions and sports facilities. I love cycling here.

По време на Османската империя е квартал населен с християни – гърци, арменци и др. Вероятно сте видели техните църкви. Постепенно те са напуснали по известни причини. Старата част на мястото много прилича на родния ми град Пловдив, България, защото сградите се строени в края на 18 и през 19 век.
