Interesting. The regular cymbals sound better of course. Is the point of the low-volume cymbals to reduce the sound coming from the drum room? I would have thought the cymbals would probably be the least offensive of any sound leaking from a drum kit being played in a practise space or a house. Or is it just for reduced volume for the practising drummer to not overload the ears? What this video really did for me was remind me of how much cooler REAL crashes are than the crashes in my VI drum kits.
