Metalheads are so darn nice. Went to a concert. Joined the moshpits for the first time in my life. I'm brittle af so at one point I got flung to the other side of the circle, and at another I straight up fell. But not even a second passed before someone just picked me up and we were back to moshing again. Loved it.

Afterwards the band had a picture taken of them with us fans in the background. The guy next to me literally ducked so he could be the same height as me in the picture. (Note these were mostly Dutchies, who are tall as Hell). Still got the picture. Greatest night of my life.

The teacher one reminds me of my favorite teacher, she’s my photography teacher and for an assignment I brought in a lightsaber I had at home to use and she said how other teachers are giving lectures right now and she just gets to play with a lightsaber, another time I dressed up another time as Spider-Man, she’s my favorite teacher by far ever

I'm a 5'11" woman, and i am very aware of my size at concerts. I always offer smaller folks the space in front of me, esp girls who would get squished. I do my best to use my tallness for good

It’s interesting that the first one’s company didn’t want to hire his daughters. I’m sure he gave a recommendation. But maybe they didn’t like the lifestyle. It’s cute that he will be their copilot both literally and figuratively 💝

What’s amazing is that in the piloting industry, it’s all about seniority. Which means he basically chose to start from the beginning (low pay, not being able to choose your routes, etc.) just so he could fly with his daughters. What a great dad.

Im a 6'3" guy the issue at concerts is that theres usually no space at all (duh, otherwise the ppl behind me would go to a different spot). Even if i were to let someone in front of me, now theres another person behind me that cant see, expect me to go all the way to the back?
However i regulary offen a 5'1" friend a ride on my shoulder so she can see at least something lol

OH STORYTIME: (it’s Halloween I’m wearing a scoops ahoy robin Buckley costume) I go to a gas station with my mom after trick or treating, this kid walks into the store alone with a hockey Jersey on (abt 9-11 years old) and he goes up to the register and says “are you guys giving out candy?” (Your probably thinking he was doing this as a prank bug he genuinely just wanted candy. I thought it was adorable) the guy says no and the kid walks out of the store behind me and my mom and walks up to me and says “hey I like your costume, you look really pretty” and walked away. IT WAS SO FREAKING CUTE. The kid was so wholesome. I hope he’s doing well and I’m kinda worried why he was out late at that young of an age alone… maybe he was meeting up w/ friends or smt. I hope he’s doing well love him <3

Ok but valentines cards for grandparents are so underrated. I wish I could send my grandma one. She passed last year on my birthday and the last thing she ever wrote, about 2-3 days before she died, was a note in my birthday card. I would give anything for just five more minutes to say goodbye
