I got out of truck driving and became a student Paramedic.

Hi truck it prayle I’m currently waiting for the forms for my provisional class c. Don’t need a medical as I am a bus driver. How often would you say you are out the house for 15hrs for example. It’s the only thing that is putting me and my fiancé off. And also can you choose which shifts you work? I know as a new driver I’ll have to put up with some of the rubbish work that no one wants. 👍🏻

Motorists one most important thing of all to remember before begining to be a HGV driver, be ready to give up you full life of free time or people that are dependent on you like family will have to come first as you never put a job before family regardless. If you got a family that are fully dependent on you, please, please, please consider you current situation and possible options when discussing it with family first because as a HGV driver myself then after discussing it with my wife of 12 years l wouldn't had done this job if it weren't for my personal family changed circumstances motorists. I believe family first, but partner had to give up her one job as she expected lifts off to me work and from work anti social night hours. When l talked to her about pay, she was rather happy to hear l be supporting her better financially and our kids but she was disappointed that l be gone full time hours and hardly in to spend time with her. You can go self employed, that is my next option and put in however many hours in the HGV transit you do also delieveries. The bigger you ride, the heavier also longer routes are so company gave me choice and explained to me that hours will be classed as livelihood hours and payment is best pay l ever received from any other job at seven days a week behind wheel. Roughly you could earn anywhere between £2500.00 to £3500.00 and may go up for bank holidays also overtime depending on how much more of you life free time opportunities are surrendered and given. There are talks about driver shortage, reducing more tests making it easier to pass and expanding pay up to least another 800 pounds higher than to what we got now. Why wait, go and get you new license while payment offer for new drivers, and tests are easier also best earnings now and join us across country!
