Nice video, nice editing! I personally like this Gen 2 evo, but it feels kinda weird seeing that sharkfin. Hopefully this will not kill Formula E's excitement

It would be so cool if they would connect the sharkfin with the rear wing

Rest in piece Gen 2 Evo car. The beautiful looking Formula E car that never made it's debut, and instead was replaced with a literal triangle.

Your opinion about the dorsal fin is epic: "It just does not need to be there" - "It doesn't add to the aesthetics of the car" - "It's just a sponsor space"
A car doesn't have 4 wheels because it looks better... it doesn't have a front and rear wing because it looks better... same thing for the side pods, nose, difuser... it's there to serve a aerodynamic purpose like in many race cars in history... it splits the air cleaning from turbulence before it hits the rear wing, it acts as a deflector collecting outside air during turns, allowing cars to turn faster... IT ADDS NOTHING!!!

The fin is not there to look good, it's there to improve handling.

it looks pretty close to an indy car, just without the halo

I guess the "fighting air pollution" part in the start of the video was directed at all those other fossil-fuel burning motorsports (F1, WEC...)

The sharkfin is absolutely useful for aero, it acts as a rudder in high speed corners as is not just for sponsorship space, what an idiotic statement SMH

Why can you not let the teams make their own designs ?!

Until they race on proper racing circuits (the ones we love but don't make the F1 tier) like Brands Hatch, Fuji, Motegi, Anderstorp, Talladega, Watkins Glen, Pau which are 2nd level circuits out there ready to host this and ignored then I won't watch this go-karting sport. When they do move to the grown up tracks that have history around the world and are "Designed" for the "Purpose" of motorsport?? Strange concept, you might just get the wider audience taking notice. The current bespoke tracks are an utter mess and look awful but maintains, it looks it as well and reminds me too much of town stage Cycling. That is holding back the sport, maybe deliberately but if Touring Cars can race at Donnington Park, why can't Formula E? Once formula e grows up to proper circuits, that is when the masses' attention will be caught not racing on Marbula 1 looking
