DWYM: Parking Lot Steaks

If you listen to Cincinnati radio – you may have heard ads for a big steal sale in the parking lot of some local malls. Can you really get a good steak for a few bucks in a parking Lot? Consumer reporter John Matarese put them to the test!

Here's the difference. The grocery store chains advertise on this News Network. The small business doing a tent sale in a parking lot does not.

Overall though I think it was a pretty fair review.
The 30 ribeyes boxes really just a gimmick to get people's attention and draw them to the tent sale.
Typically if you buy the $200 variety pack, they just throw the 30 ribeyes in free.
It's not a bad deal. Overall you're getting out at about 4 to 5 dollars per edible serving.
The vacuum wrapped in flash Frozen so they keep well in the freezer for a long time, where is steak spot at a supermarket are just wrapped in cellophane and tend to become freezer burned much quicker.

I just bought 135 dollar box just now from this same company, came with 8 filets which covered the cost right there. I am thawing one filet tonight and I’ll let y’all know how it goes. Worst case scenario I have some dog food for my pitbull for the next month 😅

SCAM ALERT!!! This company is a complete scam. I bought the 20 steaks for $40. When I brought them home and tried to cook one, I realized that the meat was completely spoiled and uneatable. I tried to reach out to the company to see what they could do and they blocked me. PLEASE DON'T GET SCAMMED!!!

I buy Top blade steaks from my local supermarket... They work out to around 2.33$ per steak and they're fresh and a million times better than these steaks.

Idk I can’t find any reason on why should I trust “Cheap parking lot meat”. I just go to my local meat market and pay a fair price for some real steak

That same guy that sold me steaks I told him I only had $100. He kept trying to sell me the chicken. Trying to add it in the deal even for free. I said no. In all I got the best deal ever. I got the box of all steaks and the 20 ribeyes for only $140 instead of $309.

Are you guys complaining that the cheap steak is thinner than the more expensive steak? These steaks are clearly not the same as thick cut ribeyes. You’re not getting a “worse” steak, it’s just a different cut

Who falls for this Crap ... you can go to any Wal Mart, , they have some Great Ribeyes, Some of their Choice Steaks are marbled so well, almost looks like Prime .. for under $13 a Lb . compared to like $19 a Lb at Costco .. and one Steak will feed 2 people easily .
