I always loved to draw in high school, once my daughter was born I stopped.. I miss the sense of peace it gave me. My daughter is now 8 and is so gifted at drawing for her age. Man oh man the hardest strokes are the fluid large ones. They're one of a kind and can't be replicated. They have the most flavor and depth. You can't hide emotion there but you can hide it in detail
It's almost like the detail brings authority to the larger strokes. Without it they'd be too disparate. But the large strokes bring emotion
