Chidi’s friends and family want him to SPLIT with Rayne. And for good reason! She has ZERO respect for him. Take for example her grand plan to win him back... While Chidi's going through emotional turmoil - he feels like his world is crashing down - Rayne on the other hand is in her hotel room smelling socks and scheming up a tactile way to seduce a man she knows is celibate! LOOOL. Sorry Rayne, I don't care how much you try to convince us otherwise, ridiculing his beliefs and trying to change Chidi IS NOT true love.

I feel SO badly for Chidi's sister and brother in law. They seem like kind people who normally have a very peaceful, loving home. I feel bad Rayne came around and caused all that chaos. She even screamed at Victoria while she was holding her baby! Not very becoming behavior from a mother...

Rayne is a perfect example of why we must take ownership over our own mental illness. It's her responsibility to work on these deep-rooted issues. It's not the responsibility of some man to love her despite her insane and unhinged behavior. If she were in therapy working on these issues that would be a different story. But she isn't and expecting somebody to tolerate her the way she is here is selfish.

The reason that this relationship will never work is because Rayne doesn't respect him. She loves an idea of him and maybe even the way he makes her feel but she doesn't truly love him for who he is. His faith is obviously a major part of who he is and her consistent rejection of accepting his religion is synonymous with her rejecting him. She needs to seek help and look inward to understand why she has such a deep rooted hatred for religion and let it go. Love is not easy, and I know TLC loves to show the worst parts but Rayne isn't ready to be a safe person to take care of this man.

Rayne doesn't understand CONSENT. Just because you are together with your partner doesn't mean you are EVER entitled to their bodies. If they say yes and you say yes, work it out. If you want it and they say no, accept that and work it out yourself. Coercion is NOT consent.
