Wynne's $4.5M Slap In The Face To The People Of Ontario

Progressive Conservative energy critic Todd Smith is rightfully outraged at new filings that show in 2016, Hydro One CEO Mayo Schmidt was paid $4.5 million. While Wynne is prancing around pretending to give a shit about the people of Ontario by offering her "relief plan" to help with the disaster she created. The other side of her face is trying to hide from the public her approving a $4.5M CEO Salary and basically creating a new Millionaire's Club At Hydro One. To the people of Ontrario...from Dalton McGuilty to Wacky Wynne we've had 15 years of liberals destroying Ontario. I think it's time we show the rest of Canada that we are not the definition of insanity.

That 4.5 mill pay cheque is outrageous! So much to look forward to in Alberta. Nutter is just as horrid as Wynne.

We should be marching in the streets when the CEO of Hydro One is making that kind of money! He should be afraid to show his face in public! It is an absolute disgrace!

Step one, reign in Hydro One and make it public again. 2. Fire Leader of H.O and cut the salary

cut the CEO of hydro ones 4.5M salary down in check with other levels in this country.  That's how you bring down hydro costs.  Why is that so hard to understand.  In 4-5 years, we will probably see a huge increase in hydro rates to make up for the 25% reduced rate we are supposed to get this year, and years to come.  Listen to the add on the radio.  It says the rate will not go up more than the cost of inflation.  Who the hell sets that rate?  I hope O'Leary gets in and fires a lot of people and cleans this out of control BS!

Deb Matthews. Delusional on this and every other topic. Asking the opposition to plot the course to lower hydro rates when she is squarely part of the reason they have gone up. Hypocrisy.

Manitoba hydro's boss gets just under $500.000 not the $4.5 Million a year, but what he's not saying is we're screwed to as they are spending billions on projects that will bankrupt Manitoba. Just like Ontario/Alberta us the Working tax payers of the province can't afford to pay for all this BS and more taxes any longer !.

Why can't the Speaker have the power to enforce answers to questions, and if they fail on a 2nd attempt, get a strike. And 3 strikes in a Q period puts you in the penalty box. Ought to be the Canadian way.

"29 days to bring their plan forward.." wait isn't it the job of the wynne gov to come up with the plan and i would think part of the plan would be to address salaries. if one salary is 10x higher than average then there likely is a lot more salaries that are 10x higher.

"Tee hee...tee hee" -- People are really getting tired of all the giggling and crying going on in legislatures across Canada since women have ascended to power. Will competency ever be a consideration for political office...or is Canada going to continue to promote third graders because "it's 2015?"

Of course if the Ontario PC party wants to win the next provincial election, they are also going to need to plan how to bring down hydro prices. Criticism is definitely needed, though they also still need to have a plan from themselves somehow. They can't just get elected as the next winning party and not know what to do to bring down hydro prices. Common sense really.

Though it is disrespectful of the Deputy Premier to dodge the question like that without a straight answer.
