Watched a few of these installs. Only comment may be to scotch brite pad the surface before you pull the freeze plug, then you can clean the lip where the plug was. Less chance of contamination in your block. Cheers

I put one on my 05 and the hardest thing was knocking out the freeze plug in the back of the block. It’s been on for three years now and is working great.

Just did my 2005 and yeah everything about it was pretty tuff. I dropped the trans cross member to get a better look at the plug, used 48 ins. of 1/2 in. of ratchet ex. w/3/8 adapter on the end and that turned out to be the easy part. But IMHO it was all well worth it. Evened out front to back temps.

I've done them with the trans out, or the head on a bench. You sir are crazy. Really surprised it only took about 2 hours.

Don’t put thermostat in unless it’s a fail safe that breaks open not closed which will leave you on the side of road . I need to do his buying 180 thermastst thermostat seam to help slot and warms up a lot quicker .

I run their intank lift pump and it works great with 21 psi and hard pull is 18-19 psi .

Question of the day! Why would you want another thermostat in a location that is not easily accessible?

Thermostat sticks closed, and you cook the back cylinders!

So my question is has it made a difference sense you installed the fleece by pass on the 4, 5, 6 cylinders temps before and after pulling loads
And over all performances
