As an Amazon seller I can tell you several things...

1. Buying for $29 to sell for $50 is not profitable at all
2. Those would not be anywhere near $5 to ship, you're looking at something closer to $9.80-$11.60/unit
3. The fees would be about $7.50/unit

Simple math is $31.39/unit after tax + $10.25avg shipping + $7.50 in fees = $50 - $49.14

IF you're lucky enough to sell a competitive product for the $50 he states here, your "profit"/unit is about $.86

Don't fall into this trap. Selling on Amazon takes time, skill, research, and unbeatable cost per unit.

I work at the post office in my town and there's no way you can ship that with us for less than 60 to 70 dollars. All cap

You basically just told everyone to skip the middle man (Amazon) and go straight to Costco. Good job!

And how the heck can you ship an item that size and weight for 5.00 when I can't ship a damn coffee mug for any less than 14.00!??

Bro I use to sell all kinds of stuff online when I had my Ebay store. Ain’t no way you gonna ship that for $5. That thing is a solid 8-10lbs and is a large item. I’m saying a minimum of $13.

What they forget to tell you is you have to actually make the sale.

I’ll tell you what he’s making money from. He’s getting a kickback from Amazon, or a 3rd party (whoever the link is setup by) to drive people to sell products FOR Amazon. Amazon makes its money on fees. Don’t be naive guys. The margins on retail stuff like this are razor thin. Costco does t make its money as a corporation from the products it sells but from the membership proceeds.

UPS Ground Shipping from Chicago to New York for a box of those dimensions is $16.95. +$28.99 cost and your profit is $3.64, 7% margin. BEFORE Amazon costs or transaction fees, or time/fuel to pick them up. So to make anywhere near $3k you'd need to sell more than 800 of those 18 packs. Again, this does not count Amazon fees.

Not only he got the shipping cost wrong but forget to mention that you have to pay monthly fee of $40 + selling fee for Amazon seller account.

Use the dropship method if you're going to do this. List it but wait until someone buys it, then you buy it and ship it. Just keep up to date to make sure it's not out of stock

Come on now, you have to be approved first before you can sell that crap on Amazon. Approval means, you gotta send in the invoice for Amazon to approve you as a reseller of the product. They will absolutely not approve Costco invoice. Plus, that’s only if people buy the crap you’re selling. Just having an app that tell you “potentially” how much you can make is garbage.

You can’t call sitting product in a shopping cart “profit” because you don’t know if you’re even going to sell all of it.

Just because Amazon shows $50 for a product you can get at Costco for $30 doesn't mean it will actually sell at $50.

Dude has stacks of protein drinks sitting on his kitchen floor for a year🤣

You forgot to minus the $10.29 FBA fees which only makes it about $7 profit for each case.
