I might be in the minority, but I believe Trey will succeed this year. He'll make the rookie mistakes sure, but he does numerous things better than Jimmy. He's decisive, not scared to throw outside the numbers, can roll out if the play breaks down and takes care of the ball. Not to mention he has zip on his throws as well. The Faithful are very excited for him and ready to get Jimmy outta here.

i think he's got it, but he has to calm down. The same issue i saw against central arkansas is the same issue i saw when he started games. He tries to do too much game time. He has to settle in calmly and control the pace of the Football but that's gonna take time, which brings us back to reps, he just needs more of those, and good news for him, looks like he'll finally get it.

Very bizarre they drafted him. I still truly believe they traded up to #3 because they initially thought they could get Zach Wilson. Lance looks a year away from being a year away

I think the thing that will make or break trey lance is the ability to be a good qb. if he can make the throws and make good decisions he will be a good qb. if not. he will suck. simple as that

I've watched a lot of videos of him throwing the football... and he's just not accurate. One of the several videos that I saw was a 49ers/Chargers joint practice where the QB's performed in a skills challenge. Lance was the only one of the six QB's that didn't hit the target at least one time. He was shown up by Nate Sudfeld & Easton Stick. He may be able to stick around a little while because of his legs, but unless he can improve his accuracy... he'll be a bust.

The numbers on Lance are skewed at best. Shanascam never ran any plays that complimented Lance's skill set, instead running plays suited to Jimmy Two-Picks or using Lance more like a wildcat halfback. Not sure what is going on in that locker room, but something needs to change or Lance will be labeled a bust.

Decent observation but you are incorrect about Jimmy G not handling pressure, the wins he took the team on the path to the super bowl were impressive..saints?..he also played hurt a lot last year because the new wonder boy couldn't get it done without getting hurt himself...a hurt Jimmy G is more effective than Lance or Lance would have been playing and you are correct his running sucks I was un-impressed and expecting a lot more.

Trey will get injured if he doesn't learn to slide. All those big body QB's get hurt by taking on hits.
