I gotta be honest, I'm seriously annoyed at this interface, it won't remember gain settings after being powered down and back up again. Universal control shows the correct level, and the front panel show the correct level, but audio is inaudiable (like 0db gain), if you then change the gain by even 1db up or down on either channel the gain corrects itself. Same issue with v1.00 of the firmware to v1.21 and the accompanying version of Universal Control. Happens on Windows 11 and MacOS Monterey - but the unit should boot up into a working state regardless of the computer it's connected to anyway - the whole point of on device presets. Edit: it appears to be an issue if you have 2 mics connected, and have gain values on both set - having channel 2 set to 0db seems to make the device start up with channel 1 working though. (both my mics require +48v - which may also be required to reproduce)

If all you want is a mic input to mix a main mix with buy pre-owned.

There are many different choices but not all of them will work flawlessly with Voicemeeter ASIO if that's important. I can recommend either Steinberg UR22, UR22C, or UR12 as all working flawlessly with Voicemeeter across three different computers.

LOL. My comment about a noisy monitoring section got erased LOL. Short story is that all I've had problems with a noisy monitoring section in all Presonus interfaces I haver used. Judging from reviews left about this product, Presonus hasn't corrected the problem - and this goes back 10-years when I got their blue box.
