At the beginning of the notes I say 1 K = 1oC. What I mean by this is that the size of a degree is the same in each scale. The Kelvin scale is the Celsuis scale shifted by 273.15.

I didn't mean to say that 1K literally equals 1oC because it doesn't! 1oC = 274.15K.

A change of 1oC does correspond to a change of 1K.
