Triple H & Adam Pearce Fire CM Punk & Roman Reigns Return Announced By WWE
Latest Breaking WWE News & Rumors
Well guys, it appears as though CM Punk will be facing some serious repercussions in WWE due to his shocking actions at the Clash At The Castle 2024 premium live event this past weekend, which saw CM Punk cost Drew McIntyre the World Heavyweight Championship in his match against Damian Priest, when Punk broke some serious rules in WWE and pretended to be the replacement referee in the match, with Punk only counting to two, and then delivering an emphatic low-blow to McIntyre, resulting in Damian Priest retaining his World Title. This act in of itself put CM Punk in hot water behind the scenes in WWE, but the fact that Drew McIntyre decided to quit and leave WWE on the Raw following Clash At The Castle, has unfortunately forced WWE to take serious action with The Cult Of Personality, and it's not good news for CM Punk fans out there whatsoever. Drew McIntyre stormed out of Raw this week and refused to talk with General Manager Adam Pearce or Triple H behind the scenes, and according to one of our sources, Triple H, Adam Pearce and other high ranking WWE officials were forced to sit down yesterday and figure out a way to get Drew McIntyre to return and not quit the company, because that's exactly what Drew plans to do if WWE don't make things right with him, and unfortunately for CM Punk fans out there, The Cult Of Personality crossed the line at Clash At The Castle a very bad time, because while Punk probably would have gotten away with that interference under normal circumstances, Drew McIntyre legitimately threatening to quit WWE has forced Hunter and Pearce to actually punish CM Punk for doing what he did at Clash At The Castle, and if new backstage rumors are true, Punk's punishment is certainly quite major!
