I think the Avalanche blew its driver side curtain airbag, that’s why the A pillar trim is askew and it has a “service airbag” message

You aren't lying about trucks. I live in DFW and they are crazy here. I just bought a 2005 GMC Canyon today, and had to pay $8k with 120k miles. It belonged to an elderly man, was garaged it's whole life and is SUPER clean, but damn...$8k for a Canyon?! They're ugly!

Hey Mike, I had a ATS. I had quite a few problems with it. It was all under warranty.The engine would overheat. It would leak coolant. Also had a lot of electrical issues. I had the vehicle 2 years. I love my escalade though I have the V series escalade.

I think if you want a cheap tow rig, you're gonna haveta find something that's cosmetically challenged mike, long as nothin' structural & it's not falling apart

I looked for a used 2012-2013 Avalanche for over 3 years. Up here in the mitten state, their frames rust rapidly so I moved on to a newer GMC. One thing I know from my brother who owned an older one, don't get the 5.3 engine if you need it to pull a trailer. Go for the 6.2 if that is the case.

Hi Mike, on the side in the front was a motor designation on that 65 Impala, it's a shame you didn't show it. You should always make it a point on every vehicle that you show any outside badging that the car has. My guess is the 65's motor is a 327 if it's original, maybe if you are lucky it might have a 396. I know that would require a bit of work but if you watch what you spend, you could really have a nice car, 65 impala's are my favorite year, because of the back tail lights.
