My wife was impregnated at 19 by a boyfriend who was married and separated. When she found that she was pregnant, he dumped her and went back to his wife, who he later divorced. She made an appointment for an abortion but couldn't go through with it. The man never paid a penny of support to her, didn't want to be part of the child's life. I later dated and married her mother. Since she was 2, I have claimed her as my own and called her my daughter. She got pregnant at 15 and finished 2 years of High School in a year and graduated with Honors. She and the babie's father later got into Meth that they procured from her natural father. It drove them apart. Through that association she met a friend of her natural father who sired her next child. She was so ashamed that until the boy was 12 years old and asked her who his father was, nobody knew his identity. He likewise didn't participate or provide support. Both of the mentioned pregnancies were supposed be aborted but she couldn't in good conscience do it. I know, she had no conscience about anything else. This Christian man thought the same thing. 22 years later she has had 4 more kids with the right guy, the youngest of whom is 4 and at Grandpa's side right now. I would trade my own life for any of these kids. God willed every one of them into being and I rejoice in it, regardless of how it happened. That's called unconditional love just like God gives us.

I really wish she’d have either strongly challenged him on his story or just straight up called BS, their side always tells these kinds of stories but push back even the tiniest bit and watch how fast it falls apart, because they’re outright LYING and in their minds it’s okay because “the ends justify the means”!
Every single time I’ve confronted them asking for specifics about “the little girl” or supposed doctor or if/when the father’s trial started they’ll inevitably either try changing the subject, moving the goal posts or go to ad homonyms and play the “moral arbiter”…. Pathetically disgusting.

This is the same reason why I am so torn with this Abortion issue. How about rape victims that unfortunately conceived a child? Should we allow them to carry the child? What if the rape victim is a mere ten years old? Should we let her small and underdeveloped body conceived?
