How to block the YouTube comment bots

Today I talk about a few methods to block the YouTube comment bots that are leaving extremely disgusting comments. While YouTube should definitely put in the minimum effort of preventing spam like this, it's important for creators (especially big ones) to put in the effort to prevent it themselves. As a commenter, I have a lot of these bots replying to my comments. It's sad that YouTube is doing nothing about it even though it's their responsibility, and now we have to take matters into our own hands in order to stop this.

As another commenter i always have these bots reply to my comments on famous channels, and its quite concerning how youtube hasnt been banning these channels, but letting them post links to literal illegal material.

I'm convinced at this point YouTube is in a self-isolation chamber. Their moderation is dogshit and you're better off just following this video.

I love the ones that just repeat another comment verbatim, like how the hell are you being out done by R9k. I'd understand if it wasn't copy paste 1-1, but it is, in what world would anybody need to do that?

Penguinz0 said that he used all of these filters, blocked phrases, and all sorts of stuff and they still go through. Also, most bots use a language thing where if translated gives an awful English message. I don't like how there's this rude like feeling when you say it takes a bit of work. Again, they tried very hard but still there are the same spambots. In fact I see new ones everyday

its disgusting how they are literally posting THE FULL VIDEO of it just blurred out. it's disgusting. YouTube is doing nothing while people are spam reporting them

I'm just a regular YT watcher, thankfully I haven't seen the sick comments like the one above, but the site is infested with bots, frequently with an icon of a women's bum or knickers, making anodyne comments or fake conversation about eg: crypto etc, immediately a video is posted. It puts me off making a comment myself when the first 4 posts are obviously by bots. Can YT really do nothing to stop them?

Thx. It's really gotten out of control. Every single comment section is filled with porn bots and Russian bots. I noticed a huge uptick since 2020, maybe even as far back as 2016. I will implement some of these steps.

I really despise YouTube's horrible moderation system, the people who make bots like this or host content are horrific people that deserve ZERO support and I hate how they try to seem like they just uave a "sexuality" thats valid :/

You may want to rewatch the vids. SOG in particular points out the easy to see nane patterns like having 4 numbers at the end of a username. Probably best to not interact with them nor spread info they give.

I've seen officer profile pictures spamming the N-Word on Markiplier's vids.

II deal with cybersecurity (to use a pop culture work), your advice might be helpful. This keywords, lists, etc is the same they use. Ultimately up to yt, but instead of allowing awareness they are actively removing them from search results. They act quickly indeed which is revealing since those are pretty much the only to channels you can find who have mentioned it, I suppose having millions of subs helps... so for all the effort you have done, I do not know how long your vid will be visible (since find it was hard enough).

Look to be honest this comment intended to help will likewise be likely removed all the same even though I am a verified premium user who have been subscribed since 2011.

I can go into detail in how this whole think works by just giving basic information that is ethical but they REALLY do not like that... any rate... those channels who also have discord are the most likely to be affected compared other channels on par with

Whether this comment will be removed or not, I do not know, but I keep record in case and if so this serves as a note to self... even if they do not remove it they can use VF (viability filters) [or the pop-culture name 'shadow banning'] and only I will see it... I will be surprised if this slips through the cracks and the only way I will know is if there is any interaction on this comment (using this platform).

Me: Needing to use LvL 3 L33T speak just to criticize it without it being auto-deleted, shadow banned or getting another 24-hour ban.

There was a list of obscene words for discord automod that I just converted new lines to commas. (in vscode you find and replace [\n] with a comma
you can bulk import banned words via comma separated list. I banned about 400 words I didn't want in my channel.
