You weren't slacking you have a family and business to care for. Family first. I hate waiting rain water too. I've wanted rain barrels for years and my husband just thinks I'm nuts. I hate paying for water and using town water for garden. It's lousy. Hang in there Luke you're doing a great job for someone so young.

This is exactly what is on my plate this weekend. Last weekend I pruned the grapes and got them ready to propagate. The weekend before it was pruning the fruit trees. This weekend...I have to tackle the rest of the messes before spring gets ahead of me! So nice to know that even expert garden folks have messes to clean up!

I hear ya on the cold. My yard was a complete wreck all winter because it was too cold to get out and clean it up. When we did get warm enough that it was doable, it would snow. Lol! But last week got to nearly 50 degrees! So I spent the day cleaning up the yard. And it was just in time too, cause we've had quite a bit of snow here in SE Wyoming since then.
