They added those 2 new modes BUT they totally ignored all of us players asking them to bring back custom playlists which are crucial for maximizing working out. Also, they didn't add simple stuff like making B a back button again. It takes a lot longer than it used to go from one song to the next you want to play. Also, they still won't add back multiple dancer cards, meaning only one person in your household will have their scores saved. I still play this game daily for exercise. I'll get 2024, but not at $60 for what is just an expansion pack. As for Just Dance+, it still has half the songs Unlimited had. I still think it is worth it for access to the Seasons they have throughout the year. Thats the only way to get the Season's brand new maps.

Great video! I definitely will be picking it up on launch. Dancing is my favourite way to exercise and I play 30 mins of Just dance at least 4 times a week (mainly hard and extreme choreos). I can't wait for Just Dance 2024!

Can you also combine older version like 2021 with the new versions if you buy them? Because all songs are displayed in the launcher of just dance 2024 but some songs aren't available even with just dance +

Just to make it clear. If you only own Just Dance 2023 and your friend only owns Just Dance 2024, in-order to play Just Dance 2024 with a friend, your friend has to be the *host* of that Group in-order to access them.

Also, the 3 new modes are pretty much rebrands of existing modes from past installments.
- *Workout Mode* behaves identical to *Sweat Mode* just like Just Dance 2019 to 2022 where it is simply a toggle and a calorie tracker.
- *Challenge Mode* behaves identical to the *World Video Challenge Mode* from Just Dance 2016 and 2017, minus the video part and the fact that it is now active instead of not being active. It is also similar to *Challengers Mode* from Just Dance 2015 to 2018 on the 7th Gen consoles (Wii, Xbox 360 etc.) where you can send challenges to other players.
- *Fitness Version* is simply the *Sweat Version* like in previous games. There's not really much to say but I am happy to see this type of Alternate Version back. I think the Just Dance Team has realised that we play Just Dance for fitness on the regular and with *Workout Mode* available, it is going to make the game enjoyable once again compare to Just Dance 2023 Edition.

One thing to note that I think should be a bit important to discuss is the fact that people are getting their copies of Just Dance 2024 Edition early. A few important things to note is that THERE WILL BE SPOILERS! There is a few more songs that weren't shown in Previews in this build and I recommend avoiding them until it is Tuesday October 24, 2023 at 9:00am AEDT (Australian Eastern Daylight Time)... or until @thefairydina has started her Twitch stream... which is already started at the time of this comment.

Another thing to note is that according to @CauaRodrigo64, who is a Just Dance YouTube content creator that talks about Just Dance news, has found out that people have been taking photos of the back cover of Just Dance 2024 Edition. And interesting enough, it pointed out about *New Codes & Custom Playlists* on the back cover. That means we are going to *FINALLY* be able to *MAKE OUR OWN CUSTOM PLAYLISTS* once again. It is most likely going to be available on the *Day One Patch* aka the Launch Update of the Just Dance app on Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S and PS5.
Looks like *Just Dance 2024 Edition* is going to be one game that is going to _standardise_ the way we play Just Dance for years to come and I am happy that the developers are finally able to put more time into adding in the modes without having to rush the game. Unfortunately, that also means we have to sacrifice it with a few less Alternate Versions. We usually get roughly 10-12 and this year we got like 7-8... so yeah, I think they rushed it still when they announced it due to the leaks.

I recommend following @CauaRodrigo64 to get up to date on the news, but do note that he speaks in *Brazilian Portugese* so you'll need to read some subtitles to understand what he is saying. Thankfully he is fully aware that English viewers do watch it, so the video will automatically include English translations. Do note that he may talk about leaks and beta versions of routine... so spoilers as usual and take it at your own risk. I am already deep in that stuff... so deep that I might as well start selling "leeks" with Hatsune Miku from Iekan Polkka which is now in Just Dance+ for you to enjoy and finally left Just Dance 2016 limbo.

Just a bit of new info that came out today, camera support is coming to the game near the end of the year, and will be in beta testing with a selection of songs from 2024 and 2023 being able to support camera tracking. This is also going to be available for all consoles as you will be able to access this feature with your phone

My 5yr daughter who loves dancing want it for christmas on xbox X. But i wonder does it have some kind of "kids mode" bcuz it looks difficult for a young child to play?

I think you mispoke - Flowers has a fitness version, not Gimme More. Also the fitness routines are basically the sweat routines from 2014 (like Ghostbusters Alt) and some earlier games (like I Was Made For Lovin' You Alt) but renamed.

Im confused though, if I have the just dance app on switch from my 2023 purchase and have just dance plus, do i get 2024 songs automatically with the plus subscription or do I need to purchase just dance 2024 separately to unlock the 2024 songs in the 2023 app?
