made the steak salad last week and it will be a BIG reason to keep thin steaks handy at all times. when he says don't overdress, he means it...caught that on 2nd watch after a waterlogged salad but still tasted great. super light, no oil in that dressing! (recipe is on his website for those who want written direction)

Today I got your book. I read a certain recipe on page 125 and thought "wow, I really want to make this for my girlfriend tomorrow" and what happens? I've been cooking for the family a lot more now then ever. I have really bad stomach issues and processed food is really bad on me, pre sliced veggies are bad too. I've caught myself cutting whole lettuce now and had no issues after eating. I had a bad gal bladder and it also caused me to have bulimia, sometimes I would end up throwing up on a empty stomach many times. I've made food a lot more special to me now, and regret most of my "out to eat" food now. You need to cherish meals and make them as fresh as possible.
