A crafty guy turned some empty cans into a steam-powered electricity generator. Muhammad Ahmad from Punjab, Pakistan, spent two days creating a generator using aluminium cans and circuit components. Once the steam is generated it powers an electric motor which then converts heat into electricity.

We tried building this at home and it did not work. Not enough steam pressure was built up to move the wheel. The hot steam coming out of the pen just melted the glue that was holding the wheel together My guess is that there is a compressor, or something else blowing through the can or there is a seperate fan that is moving the wheel off-screen.
